Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ph.D. in the field of hydraulic; training was completed with doctoral thesis called "Contributions to analysis and synthesis of electrohydraulic control elements and installations, in 1998.

Currently is Senior researcher and Manager of Hydraulics and Pneumatics Research Institute in Bucharest - ROMANIA

Hobbies: reading, sport, classical music

- Electrohydraulic servo valves and proportional hydraulic equipment - design, construction and operation
- Computerized design: Solid Edge, AutoCad, modeling and simulation: AmeSIM, LabView
- Scientific consultant for manufacturing companies in hydraulic field
- Author of 20 patents and 5 patent applications
- Teaching in the hydraulic department of Politehnica University of Bucharest
- Member of committees to support the doctoral theses of Politehnica University of Bucharest and the Technical University of Cluj, Iasi and Timisoara
- Evaluator or monitor expert for national research programmes: HORIZON 2000, RELANSIN, INVENT CALIST, CERES
